The Twittique / TL;DR

Amena Shehab's solo portrayal of a mum's escape from war torn Syria is powerful in premise but clunky in practice. Awkward transitions & unclear conversations leave us stuck on plot questions rather than absorbed in the emotional impact of Hagar's journey.
